Job Description

Admin Assistant – Spider is advertising on behalf of a highly successful care service for Residential Children’s and Adult Supported Living Services. They are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join their Head Office team based in Hadleigh, Suffolk. 

As the Admin Assistant you will offer an effective administration service to support the recruitment process. Working as part of the Head Office team to deliver recruitment support to drive for consistent deployment of the clients PATH values (Passionate, Active, Thorough and Honest).  You will need to be an effective communicator and be confident in relaying feedback back to the team and Head Office manager. You will assist the Training Co-ordinator with tracking and organising training. 

Other Admin Assistant responsibilities will include: 

  • Liaising with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure all required documents are provided on time, to make sure they are fully compliant. This will include keeping accurate records relating to each candidate using applicant tracking technology and spreadsheets.
  • Liaising with Payroll Administrator to ensure a smooth transition for new starters as well as liaising with management in our homes.
  • Report to Head Office Manager weekly with reports on all aspects of Recruitment, plus other administration tasks undertaken. 

You will have previous experience ideally in a people centred and high-pressured environment e.g., HR or recruitment. Previous experience is desired but training will be provided. You will have strong customer service skills, listening, non-verbal, written, and visual. You must have the ability to work to strict deadlines and your hours may exceed the hours stated, however, you will be given notice in order for the task to be accomplished. You must have experience of working with Microsoft Office including, Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Teams, this is also desirable and will be asked to demonstrate at interview if short listed. 

This is a full-time, permanent role with office hours of Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm. In return, they are offering a competitive salary of £19,988.00 per annum, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. Access to The Peoples Pension Scheme. 

All applicants are subject to National safeguarding processes and safer recruitment guidance, so a full DBS will be required for this post. You will also be locally based with the ability to travel between services in Hadleigh, Ipswich, Kesgrave and Manningtree
