Job Description

Administrators – Work Placement - Spider is advertising on behalf of our client in the further education sector and provides a range of courses for students and work-based learning students. They are now currently recruiting for Work Placement Administrators to join their team, in Ipswich, Suffolk. 

They require an ambitious person who has experience in the administrative processes, practices, and procedures, ideally within the education sector. You will be part of the Business Development team and will support the essential records relating to work experience and industry placement, collectively known as work placement. 

You will be the first point of contact for external and internal customers and will be required to use several communication methods. You will provide an effective administrative support service to the Directorate of Apprenticeships and Business Development, which will include entering and maintaining data and information on college systems, including the GroFar system, which specifically records work placement. 

You will have a relevant Level 3 qualification and have experience of undertaking administrative duties in a busy office environment, along with good IT skills, the ability to work pro-actively with teams and a customer–focused approach. 

The Workspace is within the Ipswich campus; however, you should be willing to attend other campus locations as required.

In return, the salary on offer is £18,806 to £20,703 per annum, pro rata (depending on experience). Working hours are 37 hours per week. Other benefits include Career Average Pension Scheme in which employees contribute between 5.5% and 12.5% depending on salary and holiday of 20 days per annum pro rata rising one day per year pro rata to a maximum of 25 days per annum pro rata, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure days.
