Spider Recruitment Services are working with a leading plumbing and heating company who are head officed in the Banbury area of Oxfordshire. The business carries out all types of varied works alongside plumbing and heating, such as bathroom design, drainage, boiler replacement and servicing/repair works.
Due to increased workload and company growth, they now have an exciting opportunity for an engineer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This will be to work on the repair, servicing, testing, installation and diagnostics of heating systems, plumbing systems and boiler faults.
The best part of this opportunity is that they are accepting applications from trainee engineers with limited experience through to the more seasoned engineer with plenty of varied work achieved.

They carry out full scope of works for domestic and landlord services.
They are seeking engineers who can work on gas heating systems but if you have experience on other systems such as LPG/Oil/Renewables then that would be beneficial. If you want to broaden your skills range and get stuck into new types of work, then full training will be provided for you along with any relevant industry certification you require.
As an integral part of the team, you will undertake heating services and repairs. You will have previous experience carrying out boiler servicing and breakdowns for either domestic or commercial customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer service when dealing with tenants and clients
- Keep to a high standard of work to the company’s quality standards
- Communicate updates on progress to the central office when required
- Complete any required job paperwork
- Undertake and continuous personal development required to meet the needs of the business
- Assist in the training and development of fellow employees, apprentices and trainees if applicable
You will be working Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm with an hour lunch break. This role has no requirements for any call out or weekend work.
You will be paid a competitive salary, annual pay reviews, any uniform and PPE you need, specialist tools and company vehicle allocated to you with fuel card. PAYE benefits such as pension scheme and company sick pay apply too.
