HR Manager – Part Time - Spider is advertising on behalf of a highly successful hospitality company based in Ufford, near Woodbridge in Suffolk who are looking for a HR Manager to join this brilliant organisation on a part time basis in a newly created role.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR Manager will build key relationships with management throughout various departments and provide HR expertise and knowledge to this expanding award-winning company.
The HR Manager will be an integral part of our team and the role is extremely varied, offering you to cover all aspects of Human Resources. You will be responsible for reviewing employment policies and staff handbook, regularly updating and recommending changes in line with best practice and employment law, improve and develop new HR processes and procedures, support the recruitment process throughout the business and prepare new contracts and starter packs.
Further key responsibilities of the HR Manager:
- Provide HR reports to line managers as required
- Provide advice, guidance and professional support on all employee issues
- Ensure training records and sickness/absence records are properly recorded
- Ensure appraisals and monthly one-to-ones are carried out and appropriately documented.
- Carry out exit interviews and provide feedback to Heads of Department and Directors as appropriate
- Liaise with the Finance Team to ensure that all information required for payroll processing and pension administration is provided (starters, leavers and other
The new HR Manager will be a dynamic, approachable and experienced HR professional accustomed to working in a professional office environment in a generalist HR role. You will be CIPD qualified with excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships with all levels of management and staff.
Previous experience of working in a similar role in the hospitality, leisure or retail industries would be highly advantageous.
This is a brand-new role, working 22.5 hours per week (to be arranged with successful candidate). On offer is a salary of £30,000 per annum, pro rata.
