IFA Administrator / Technical Support Administrator - Spider is advertising on behalf of a well-established firm of Independent Financial Advisers and Financial Planners based in central Ipswich. 2020 was their 25th year in business. They offer advice to individuals, small business, and trustees on a broad range of financial services including, but not limited to financial planning, pensions, life insurance and investments. They are now looking for an IFA Administrator / Technical Support Administrator to join their team.

An IFA Administrator / Technical Support Administrator is a support role for our advisers. It is less demanding than a paraplanner, but more technical than an office administrator.
It will be someone who understands the basics of retail financial services, products, systems and documentation requirements and to whom the advisory staff can confidently delegate work. The quality of their advice services rests on efficient administration it is therefore vital that you have an efficient and accurate approach to your work.
They are a busy office, so you will need to be productive and be able to prioritise your work in conjunction with the advisers.
Experience in a similar role or at least experience in the financial services sector is essential.
- Communicating with providers and clients as required
- Drafting and checking correspondence for and on behalf of advisers
- Assisting advisers by preparing such documentation such as letters of authority, illustrations, application forms, and letters
- Following up with providers and clients as necessary
- Maintaining and updating client records on Advisor Office, our back-office system
This IFA Administrator / Technical Support Administrator role is a full-time position and based in the office only. The office hours are 09.00 to 17.00, five days a week. Salary will be related to experience and competence and will likely be in the range of £18,000 to £25,000 per annum. This salary range is not set in stone, and they will pay more if your knowledge, experience, and personal qualities justifies it.
