M&E Quantity Surveyor Trainee/Junior to Senior - Spider Recruitment Services, the specialist recruitment division of Spider are currently working with an established M&E contractor who has built an enviable reputation over the years for delivering complex projects across a variety of sectors.
Currently working with a highly established ME Contractor who has an outstanding reputation for delivering diverse and challenging projects across a variety of sectors including; commercial, residential, retail, leisure and public. They deliver the entire process, from design, build and installation to maintenance.
Due to their continued growth and success, they now have a fantastic opportunity for an ME Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team. They would consider a Trainee/Junior as well as an experienced and qualified ME Quantity Surveyor
Role and Responsibilities to include:
- Cost Value reconciliations (CVRs)
- Negotiation of variations
- Procurement of specialist Mechanical and Electrical Sub-Contractors
- Assist in the identification of potential risks and opportunities on projects
- Managing monthly project cost reports in time for monthly Directors meetings
- Advising on legal and contractual issues
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience as an ME Quantity Surveyor Desirable but not essential
Either degree qualified or working towards being degree qualified (Company will offer support and time off for day release)
- Articulate and highly numerate
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer Literate
