Marketing Manager – char.gy is an electric vehicle charging service. We design and manufacture the hardware and write the software that communicates with the charge points and that the customers use to charge their car. It is a very rapidly growing industry that bridges transport, green energy, and the Internet of Things. We are now looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team on a remote basis.
Remote working saves on commuting and gives us a calm space to work, but sometimes we like to meet face to face. You should expect to travel into the office near Aldgate East in London as required but not likely to be more than once a week.
As the Marketing Manager, is a standalone role and you will be responsible for effectively promoting our brand to our market audience. You will be implementing and developing the annual B2B and B2C marketing plan, including running marketing campaigns to attract potential customers, retain existing ones and drive sales. You will deliver advertising and promotional support plans for key B2B customers in conjunction with the Sales team. You will be developing the website, e-commerce, and email marketing activity, including analysing analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
Key duties include:
- Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing activity and campaigns.
- Devising and delivering social media strategy. Creating compelling social media content, developing influencer relationships, and managing third party brand partnerships, to build company’s brand presence online.
- Project management; working with designers, photographers, PR, and website agencies.
- Creating and delivering marketing collateral, including packaging, brochures, presentations, and sales promotions for B2B customers and prospective customers.
- Undertaking market research to gain trade and consumer insights to enhance char.gy’s products and service proposition.
- Answering trade and consumer enquiries via social media, email, and phone.
- Managing and staffing photo shoots and trade events.
To be a successful Marketing Manager, you will have previous experience in a similar role. You will have been educated to degree level or equivalent experience. You will have In-house brand experience as well as up-to-date digital knowledge, e-commerce expertise advantageous. You will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude and strong multi-tasking ability. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. You will be commercially aware and ideally have a background in EVs or renewables.

This is a full-time role. In return, the salary on offer is £40,000-£50,000 per annum depending on experience.
