Job Description

Payroll Administrator – Spider is advertising on behalf of an ambitious leading Disability Charity based in the East of England delivering a range of services to their customers including Housing, Employment, Care and Day Services. They are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join them on a part-time basis hybrid working, in Cambridgeshire. 

In this new role, the Payroll Administrator, will report to the People Services Manager. You will provide a comprehensive payroll administration service to support the efficient and timely preparation of payroll for their staff. 

As the Payroll Administrator, you will have experience of payroll administration, calculating SSP & maternity pay. You will have experience of processing pension and HMRC submissions and ideally working with paper timesheet submissions as well as experience of working with Access HRIS or similar system. You will have excellent IT skills, particularly Excel including calculations. You will have strong communication skills and a high level of organisation and attention to detail. The ability to work to strict deadlines and manage your own workload is essential. 

This Payroll Administrator role will be predominately home working but will require occasional travel to their office in Huntingdon for training and team meetings. You will be working 22.5 hours per week, with a range of flexible working patterns available This is a part-time role. On offer is a salary on £25,000 per annum (pro-rata).
