Sales Manager – Renewable Energy - Spider is advertising on behalf of a highly successful world-class manufacturer of centrifugal pumps, based at Rendlesham, Suffolk

Due to its continued global growth strategy, the company is seeking to recruit a dynamic Sales Manager – Renewable Energy to manage its diversification and grow its presence across target territories in the market of renewable energy. 

In this strategically critical role, the successful applicant will have a strong background in developing and maintaining a market footprint in the renewables energy sector globally. Regular global travel to their target territories of Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia with cooperation with territory Sales Managers will be required to identify potential opportunities and cement the company profile in this rapidly growing sector. 

The appointee will be able to identify and develop strong opportunities for both existing ranges and potential future company product development and be able to make recommendations and coordinate a companywide strategy for the market approach with the view of establishing and growing revenue contribution as quickly as possible. 

While initially the role will have a market development bias it is foreseen that within 12-18 months it will move into a target driven sales role and as such the successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate experience with engineered capital sales within the energy sector. 

The main duties and responsibilities for this position are: 

  • To follow & assist in the implementation of the Sales and Marketing strategy for the company within the Renewable Energy sector.
  • Drive product development required for establishment within the sector.
  • Cross territory assistance in training, opportunity identification and profile raising within key end users, consultant, and potential customer base.
  • Development of marketing presence across all target territories.
  • Project tracking and lead generation.
  • Establishing strong contacts and influence and network within major renewable energy players.
  • Generate dependable revenue stream within 18 months.
