Job Description

Sales Support Administrator – Omega Ingredients are a multi- award-winning manufacturer and supplier of innovative, natural, and organic ingredients for flavours and fragrances and to the food, beverage, cosmetic and toiletry markets. We are seeking a Sales Support Administrator to join our team at Great Blakenham, Suffolk. 

The Sales Support Administrator will provide support to our Internal Sales & Office Team via Sales Order Processing Administration. You will play an important part in effectively contributing to the achievement of the Omega Mission and Vision, which is to be the most outstanding International Creative Flavour and Fragrance Company, providing high quality performance products with customer focus delivered by a passionate and dynamic team. 

As the Sales Support Administrator your responsibilities will include Sales Order receipt, acknowledgement, system entry and confirmation which includes price checks & quote Entry. You will respond to our customers in a timely and professional manner, prepare accurate sales related applications. Liaise with other departments such as Production, Logistics, Technical and Procurement, and continuously support the internal sales team. 

Skills and attributes of the Sales Support Administrator 

  • Experience of using ERP software package and spreadsheets
  • Previous experience of building effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Competent using Microsoft packages
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Fantastic communicator with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to change, share ideas and think logically
  • Numerical skills with ability to calculate costings
  • Previous experience of working within standards i.e., ISO, BRC (desirable)

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours a week. On offer is a competitive salary between £17,000-£23,000 per annum with 33 days holidays (including bank holidays) as well as a host of benefits including free gym sessions, private healthcare, and cycle scheme plus lots more.
