Support Worker– We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to be based in Bradford. We have full-time and part-time positions available.

Making it happen- Your Role
We have a really exciting opportunity, for you to join a service supporting four males. The people we support, in this service, have Autism, so previous knowledge of supporting people with this condition would be beneficial.
Those who live at this service enjoy being out in the community, and as services reopen, you will support people to be able to use these services, therefore being a driver is essential so the services can be accessed.
This service works a mixture of day and night shifts, with some sleep in’s required (We do not have a Waking Night post at this service)
On a daily basis, you may be involved in supporting people with the following activities:
- Cooking and cleaning
- Washing and personal care
- Managing finances
- Supporting with medication
- Supporting wheelchair users
- Attending Drs/ hospital appointments
- Shopping and socialising
- Supporting service users with complex health needs.
- Providing updates to family members and other stakeholders.
You must have a genuine compassion and integrity to treat people with dignity and respect. You will have experience in Health and Social Care, as well as ideally holding an NVQ L2 in Health and Social Care/Care Certificate. We will provide you with good, quality on the job training.
This Support Worker role is a permanent, full Time, part Time and relief available. On offer is a competitive salary of £8.91 per hour (rising to £9.00 p/h after successfully completing probation).
