Job Description

Vehicle Technician - Spider is advertising on behalf of a highly successful car repair and maintenance company based in Grays, Essex, who are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team.  

As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include be reporting to the Service Manager, as part of the workshop team.  Taking the lead and making key decisions to ensure the smooth operation within the workshop.

 Other key duties include:

  • Carrying our servicing, diagnostic investigations and repairs to a variety of Cars
  • MOT Testing
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • A fully qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Ideally have some team leading experience
  • Hold MOT Tester licence
  • Experience with diagnostics
  • Hold a current and valid UK driving licence - essential
  • Must own your own Vehicle Technician tools - essential

 This Vehicle Technician position is a Full-Time position. On offer is a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience) Hours of work Monday to Friday- 8.00am to 5.30pm + alternative Saturday mornings- 8am-1pm.
