Warehouse Manager- Ready to start on an opportunity for a fast-growing UK circuit protection company?

They are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, self-motivated Warehouse Manager to manage a team of 12 in a fast-paced Warehouse based in Kilmarnock, Scotland.

About the role:

The Warehouse Manager position involves supervising the intake, storage, processing, and shipment of Low Voltage Circuit Protection products in the UK and NI. This role is crucial to our operations, requiring the selected candidate to lead and oversee the warehouse team effectively to meet both business and personal objectives, while also ensuring productivity goals are reached.

  • Day-to-day management of warehouse operations.
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched in a timely manner.
  • Organise and manage goods in shipments.
  • Follow company procedures and processes diligently.
  • Uphold standards of health, safety, and hygiene in the warehouse.
  • Oversee rolling stock control and reconcile on Sage 50.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, transportation companies, and customers.
  • Delegate tasks, provide feedback, and motivate team members.
  • Recruit, train, and lead the warehouse team.
  • Regularly produce reports and statistics in compliance with ISO-9001 documents.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Working hours are 8-4.30 Monday to Thursday, 8-3.30 Friday with overtime available.

About you:

You will need a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager, demonstrate proficiency in warehouse management procedures and best practices. Proficiency in warehouse KPIs, computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Sage, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining good housekeeping are essential requirements for the role.
